After a short visit by Dr Daniela Righetti, the treatment started on time at 8 am and lasted 2 hours. At the end of the infusion, Dr Righetti visited them again, gave them 2 boxes of Tylenol and a paper with the times in which to take the medication written on it (this is just to manage the flu-like symptoms that might appear during the treatment). Once the infusion was over with, our Case Manager Cosimo took them back to the hotel.

Today our Case Manager Cosimo picked up Carole & John Zarkovacki for the second infusion; the treatment has started and all is well; it seems like Carole feels no particular side effects and her hand already has started to feel better! She has already started to feel more strength in her hand, she can make a fist again and all of a sudden and CRPS pain seems to be fading away.
The nurses and Dr Righetti are impressed with her improvements. She initiated the infusion at 8 o’clock and it lasted for 2 hours. Cosimo stayed by their side the whole time. Once they finished with the infusion, our Case Manager Cosimo accompanied Carole & spouse to Vicenza and left them downtown, as they wanted to walk around the enchanted city center of Vicenza and see it for themselves.

Once the treatment completed, in the afternoon, our Case Manager Cosimo took Carole to the office to film her testimonial of the stay in Italy and the infusion cycle of Neridronate. After that, they said goodbye and that we would speak in the next 2 months, when the treatment should reach maximum effect. That afternoon Cosimo took them back to the airport in Venice to catch the plane.
Carole was almost in tears for the progress she has witnessed!
