Why the Patient decided to undergo the CRPS Treatment in Italy

This patient presented extremely aggressive CRPS symptoms. She was under a lot of medication in order to help her pain reduce to 7 instead of 10/10. She had tried various treatment with no lasting improvements. She found CRPS-Treatment Italy online and contacted us to understand if she would be eligible for treatment. She was welcomed in Italy 3 months later.

Medical treatment the Patient underwent in Italy

Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a severely painful and disabling disease for which a multitude of therapeutic interventions have been proposed. In the past two decades, only Bisphosphonates gained credibility. In recent years, more convincing evidence has become available on the use of Parenteral Neridronate. Since 2014, this drug is registered and marketed in Italy for the treatment of CRPS. To date, the only therapeutic schedule that is recognized to be able to confer benefit is the intravenous (IV) administration of 100 mg given 4 times.

JULY 2023 (8 months after Neridronate treatment): The patient says her pain levels are now around 4/10, and she has stopped taking a lot of her daily medication, she can now walk without the use of her cane. All other symptoms have lowered by 70%, according to the patient.

Conclusion

This patient had one of the most extreme cases we had seen, her symptoms were severe, and her pain levels were very high, she needed various medication daily to be able to move, sit, walk and sleep. Taking this much medication had had a toll on her stomach which was under a lot of pain too.
Starting at 10/10, her pain levels have dropped to 4/10, and all other symptoms are 70% less aggressive, which is a huge win for this patient.
