Why the Patient decided to undergo the CRPS Treatment in Italy

The physician who diagnosed him mentioned Neridronate to him, after which he did his research and contacted us quickly.

Medical treatment the Patient underwent in Italy

Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a severely painful and disabling disease for which a multitude of therapeutic interventions have been proposed. In the past two decades, only Bisphosphonates gained credibility. In recent years, more convincing evidence has become available on the use of Parenteral Neridronate. Since 2014, this drug is registered and marketed in Italy for the treatment of CRPS. To date, the only therapeutic schedule that is recognized to be able to confer benefit is the intravenous (IV) administration of 100 mg given 4 times.

4 neridronate infusions (100mg, I.v. in saline Solution 0,9% 250 ml)

APRIL 2022 (2 months after Neridronate treatment): The patient reported the swelling was getting down slowly since his treatment week. Pain levels have dropped a bit, but he still says it is at 6-7/10.

JULY 2022 (5 months after Neridronate treatment): The patient reported the swelling is now completely gone, and his pain levels are at 3/10.

DECEMBER 2022 (10 months after Neridronate treatment): During our Christmas Wishes call, he confirms being at the same pain level, about 2-3/10, which allows him to live more peacefully and reduce the among of pain medication he was taking.

When the patient arrived, his right hand was incredibly swollen and bright red. These symptoms disappeared few months after the infusions. His pain levels dopped by half, allowing the patient to use his arm more freely and letting him get back to normal activities.
