Today was the longest day for mister Russell: caused by some delay, he did not make it to Italy the day before, when it was scheduled. He had to arrive the day after, which also was the day of the first infusion. Our Case Manager Diego made sure that he would get to the Hotel for a short rest before heading to the clinic.
…Later that day
Mr. Russell got to meet the doctor who visited him: he was very reinsured and headed to the infusion room with his wife and kid who was so great incouraging the father. Mr. Russell was then accompanied back to the hotel by his Case Manager, who also stayed for the infusion, and finally got to rest until the next day.

Today our Case Manager Diego picked the Russell family up at the Hotel at about 9:30 and drove them for the second infusion. The patient showed no side effects and the family was with him the whole time. Later in the afternoon they were guided through the ancient city of Verona, always by Diego. The whole family was truly amazed by the wonders of the city, like the Arena or the House of Juliet.

At 8 am mr. Russell had the third infusion but, this time, his wife and son decided to wait for him in the hotel room. No problem because Diego was with him. Again, no side effects and everything went reallyu smooth. After the infusion, mr. Russell and Diego went back to the hotel to pick up the rest of the family and off they went to visit Padova, hometown of one of the first Universities in Europe and the world.

Always available and working in the weekends but…Sunday is Sunday! Our Case Manager Diego took the whole family for a day-long tour to Bassano del Grappa and Marostica, the first is a little town known for the glorious battles during the first and second World War, the second is famous for the incredibly well-kept medieval castle.

Today was the big day: the last infusion followed by the second visit. The doctor looked optimistic and we will know of the improvements soon enough. For the afternoon we took advantage of the nice weather to walk around Vicenza and have a nice drive up and down its beautiful hills. At night we also got to eat an authentic Italian pizza!

Not having to go to the clinic anymore, Diego took the Russells for a day-long tour around Venice. They were speechless in front of the majestic views and buildings offered by the city and got to buy souvenirs for the loved ones at home.
…Later that evening
The whole family got to have dinner with the CRPS Treatment Team and some other clients that had arrived to undergo the Neridronate infusions. It was a great evening and everyone had lots of fun.

Diego picked the whole family up to take them to the airport. They were sad they had to leave so soon but, this is what we do! Our clients come here to battle this terrible condition and go back home after using the best treatment available and with a great experience as a memory!
